The World Taught Us To Chase More

Kamusta Ka?

A reflection about success, wealth, faith, purpose, and the soul we often forget while chasing the world.

SCROLL TO BEGIN

“People spend their entire lives preparing for retirement, yet sometimes forget to prepare their soul for eternity.”

Chapter 01

The World Taught Us To Chase More

Every day, the world teaches us the same message: earn more, achieve more, own more, become more successful.

There is nothing wrong with becoming financially wise. There is nothing wrong with preparing for the future. As a financial advisor, I truly believe planning ahead matters.

Protecting your family is love. Preparation is wisdom. Financial stability creates peace for the people we care about.

But somewhere along the journey, many people became financially driven while becoming spiritually empty.

Sometimes, we become so busy building our future on earth that we forget our soul also needs attention.

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”

MARK 8:36
Chapter 02

Success Without Peace Is Still Empty

There are people who already achieved everything they once prayed for, yet deep inside, they still feel lost.

Money can buy comfort, but not always peace. Money can create opportunities, but it cannot heal every hidden wound inside the heart.

True wealth is not only measured by numbers inside a bank account. Sometimes, the richest people materially are the emptiest spiritually.

Things Money Cannot Fully Buy

  • Inner peace
  • Healing for the soul
  • Real purpose
  • Time already lost
  • Genuine happiness
  • A relationship with God
Chapter 03

Your Soul Is Also Asking, “Kamusta Ka?”

Behind every smile online, many people are silently struggling.

People are becoming mentally tired from constantly chasing, comparing, and trying to prove something to the world.

Maybe tonight, the real question is not: “How much money do I have?”

Maybe the deeper question is: “How is my soul?”

The soul becomes tired too. And sometimes silence is God's way of calling us back to Him.

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

MATTHEW 11:28
Chapter 04

We Are Temporary In This World

One day, our titles will disappear. Our possessions will remain behind. Our achievements will fade.

Life is temporary. But the soul continues beyond this world.

That reality is not meant to scare us. It is meant to wake us up.

The goal is not only to become successful. The goal is to live meaningfully.

“For dust you are and to dust you will return.”

GENESIS 3:19
Chapter 05

Build Your Future, But Do Not Forget Your Faith

You can pursue success while staying faithful. You can become financially wise while still protecting your peace.

Financial planning matters. Insurance matters. Preparation matters.

But faith matters too. Because at the end of life, the soul will always matter more than status.

Final Reflection

  • Prepare financially.
  • Protect your family.
  • Build your dreams.
  • Grow spiritually.
  • Take care of your soul.
  • Stay close to God.

Kamusta Ka?

Not your income. Not your achievements. Not your business. But you. Your peace. Your faith. Your soul.
