Father’s Day Reflection: For the Wounded, the Healing, and the Awakening

Not every Father’s Day is joyful. For some, it’s a reminder of what was missing—words never spoken, love never shown, support never felt. If this day brings more pain than celebration, know this: you are not alone, and you are not unloved. Some of us carry deep wounds from fathers who were physically present but emotionally absent. Others were hurt by harsh words, favoritism, or cold silence. And still others feel nothing—just a hollow space where connection should have been. To those who are hurting: God sees you. God knows the quiet ache of your heart. He is not blind to what you went through. And He is not limited by the failings of others.
